Good trips begin
with a little curiosity.
I started Finebound while planning my own trip to Japan. I enjoyed finding the quieter places, comparing the routes, and making all the little details fit.
More about me
What I didn’t enjoy was losing the plan in a pile of tabs and spreadsheets. So I built a travel website I could actually use. That’s what I now make for other people.
I’m based in Oslo, study at NTNU, and take on a small number of trips at a time. You work directly with me, in English or Norwegian.

before you go.
Do you make the bookings?
You book directly with hotels, transport operators and other
providers. I research the options and give you the relevant links.
I don’t take commission, so the recommendations are based on your
trip.
Can you work around what I’ve already booked?
Yes. Tell me what’s fixed, including dates. The Japan example was
built around three existing hotel bookings, and the routes kept
all of them in place.
Is this only for Japan?
Japan is the starting point, and the trip you can explore here. I
also consider other destinations where I can verify the research
properly. Send me the outline and I’ll confirm whether I can help.
What happens if the plan isn’t right?
Tell me what misses your brief and I’ll work through it with you
using your included revisions. If it still doesn’t meet the agreed
brief after those revisions, I’ll refund the planning fee. You can
also cancel for a full refund before work begins. Read the
full cancellation and refund terms.
Does the website stay available afterwards?
Yes. You get a hosted site and a downloadable copy that works
offline. Your plan is for your own use, and I won’t share it as a
public example without your permission.
Do you use AI in the research?
Yes, as a research tool. I use it to explore options, then check
the key facts against primary sources, make the route decisions
and review what goes into your plan. You’re working with me, and
I’m responsible for the result.
